ince the conclusion of the season, we have worked to collect all the Post Season Awards to release at a single time.  As we approach a week out from the State Finals, we have determined that we cannot wait any longer.  Tonight, we posted all the information that we have received and will update the missing data when it is provided.  We have received some requests to update individual personal pages and apologize to those waiting to see their records updated.

# 463  Monday in Final Week
ith the final week of the season upon us there were 11 games played tonight (with one being moved to tomorrow).  That leaves us with only 17 games left in the regular season.  Seeding is becoming much more solid (see seeding page HERE); however, it is always important to remember that every game matters and seeding can change up until the last game is played.  Many games tonight were one sided, but two came down to a single goal.  HFL defeated Pal-Mac 9-8 and Churchville-Chili defeated Greece Storm 7-6.

There were fifteen games schedule tonight to open May.  HFL defeated Eastridge 8-7 in overtime in the closest matchup of the night.  Remaining scores included Irondequoit over Mercy 10-8, Marcus Whitman over Aquinas 10-9, Gananda over Geneva 16-10, Pal-Mac over Mynderse-Romulus 15-5, Waterloo over Wayne 13-10, Spencerport over Brighton 11-3, Hilton over Churchville-Chili 15-8, Fairport over Gates-Chili 20-1, Canandaigua over Penfield 11-5, Penn Yan over Newark-Midlakes 12-6, Thomas over Greece Storm 10-3, Pittsford over Schroeder 10-5 and RH over Victor 19-5.

here were seven games scheduled tonight with two concluding in overtime.  R-H defeated Canandaigua (12-11) in the 2nd overtime period and Schroeder defeated HFL (11-10) in their second overtime period.  The score for Thomas vs. Hilton is still pending.  Remaining scores included Eastridge over Gates Chili 17-3, Fairport over Churchville-Chili 19-2 and Pittsford over Victor 16-4.  Spencerport defeated Notre Dame Academy (MA) 11-10.

# 387  Spencerport Scores in Final Minutes to Advance
Camryn Sack scored the game winning goal with 1:54 remaining in regulation off a feed from Erin Coykendall to give second seeded Spencerport the 11-10 win over seventh seeded Webster Schroeder.  Earlier in the season, Spencerport also won their first matchup 12-8.  Tonight, the Rangers relied on three players to score 17 out 18 points.  Coykendall finished with 2g-5a to lead.  Natalie Choate (5g) and Sack (3g-2a) finished with five points each.

here were eight games played tonight.  Pittsford defeated Fayetteville-Manlius 10-7 and Spencerport defeated Lake Short 21-8 in out of Section games.  Schroeder defeated HFL 12-10 in a game at that tied at each step up to 10-10.  Remaining scores included: Penn Yan over Livonia 17-10, Aquinas over Marcus Whitman 14-6, Irondequoit over Brockport 13-4, Canandaigua over Victor 12-6 and Waterloo over Wayne 11-4.

# 289  Smith Leads Canandigua to Victory
econd seeded Canandaigua scored five unanswered goals to take the lead late in the first half and never let up in their 11-7 win over seventh seeded Schroeder.  The Warriors kept up their play until the end; but every time they attempted to tie the game, the Braves had a response.  The turning point of the game came at 10:47 with Peyton Smith’s third goal of the game.  She scored on a broken clear that turned the momentum from in favor of the Warriors to squarely with the Braves.  Smith led the offense with 4g-1a and was a major factor during the defensive clearing ride.

# 264  Canandaigua Fights Back in Second Half
anandaigua came back from trailing by three to defeat Webster Schroeder 11-9.  The Braves scored six unanswered goals to end the first half and start off the second.  Canandaigua scored the first goal of the game with an unassisted goal from Emma O’Neill.  The Warriors responded with three in a row to take the lead.  Payton Lill scored two with Madison Bell scoring the third.  Canandaigua stayed close and tied the game at 3-3 and 4-4.  Webster scored their fifth goal with another unassisted goal from Lill.  0:12 later, Abby Moon scored for the Warriors.  Bell recorded her second assist to Kelsey Nelson with 8:44 remaining in the first half. The Warrior did not score again until 8:44 remained in the second half.

ith 14 games scheduled tonight, it was one of the biggest nights of the year.  Most games were one sided; however, HFL defeated Irondequoit 7-6 and Fairport defeated Victor 7-4.  Additional scores were Penfield over Oly/Arc 16-3, Waterloo over East Rochester 17-8, Mynderse over Newark 16-6, Brighton over Brockport 19-1, Canandaigua over Eastridge 20-1, Pittsford over Thomas 11-5, Spencerport over Schroeder 14-4, Penn Yan over Gananda 20-3, Marcus Whitman over Midalkes 19-8 and Pal-Mac over Wayne 18-1.
